Lompoc High School held their second assembly in anticipation of Homecoming on Friday, October 11, 2024. Drumline played music while everyone got seated, and shortly after Cheer performed a routine. Sapphire and Danceline performed as well and did an amazing job at energizing the crowd.
Our King candidates for 2024 were Jacob Baca Manzo, Landon Gaspar, RJ Taporco, Aiden Vargas, and Jacob White! For our Queen candidates we had Natalie Aguilar, Gabi Arias, Grace Braid, Ava Gallegos, and Scarlett Rains! They all had unique openings while the crowd cheered loudly for each candidate.
While everyone was waiting for voting to close, the suspense increased. Finally, it was announced that our Homecoming King of 2024 is Jacob White! Even though everyone wanted to know who our homecoming queen was, we all had to wait for the football game later that night to find out!
