At Lompoc High School, we’re sometimes so focused on the things that “Matter” to us like homecoming king and queen but we hardly focus on the people who lead our entire school.
What is the executive president? The executive president is different from the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior Presidents The executive president is essentially the leader or the boss of all the others, so we personally talked to her and asked a few questions about the
Upcoming school year and here’s what she had to say so first we asked her ‘What is something that is very important to you this school year?’ and she said “I wanted people to feel comfortable coming to me about issues they care about” she then went on to say “it is very important to keep everyone’s best interest in mind when making large decisions” along with that she then went on to say “Even though I cannot attend the black student union due to a conflicting schedule I would like to encourage everyone I can to join the Black student union, I think it is very important that every student at Lompoc high school to have a support system” she stated. So who exactly is Jalisa Dixon? Jalisa is president of AVID here at Lompoc High school. She wants to become a kindergarten teacher after she graduates college. She plans on going to a four year university, but yet has not made a decision. So with all this new found knowledge on the person leading our high school maybe the next time you see Jalisa on campus don’t be afraid to say hi!
