Glow Dance
The Glow Dance was a post game dance hosted by the Cheer team. Decorated with neon signs and blacklights, it gave a vibe our dances have never seen before. The Cheer team did not anticipate the turnout; around 100 people came! Not only was it a blast, we had a fantastic DJ that played amazing songs throughout every genre. People came wearing neon so that they could glow in the black lights. Although it was short and everyone wanted to stay longer, the timing couldn’t have been more impeccable– being right in between Homecoming and the beginning of the school year. It got us off to a good start!
One of the best feelings in the world is going to a football game, winning, and having a party afterwards and that is exactly what happened. Not only did students enjoy this party, LHS staff members were also having a great time. With some timeless songs, our very own coaches Kendall Lopez and Kira Gonzales started the night off as chaperones, and were serving on the dance floor by the end of the night.
