Ava Velasco is a 10th grader at Lompoc High School. This will be her second year in journalism.

She is most looking forward to expanding her writing skills in the schools paper. Her hobbies include playing tennis and playing with her dog. She is affiliated with a team: playing on the Lompoc tennis team.
