The excitement exhilarated through all players for the annual rival soccer face off! Monday, April 19th the Lady Braves faced Cabrillo for their last soccer game. In normal seasons, they’d get to play against each other more than once, but unfortunately, due to Covid-19 this was the one and only Lompoc v. Cabrillo this season. With both teams giving their 110% throughout the entire game, the final score was 2-0, the Conquistadors taking the win. It was a very good last game for the Lady Braves, very strong defense, the fight didn’t stop, but did not score. The winning goals for Cabrillo were scored by Juniors Alina Terrones and Maddy Floyd. Our Lompoc girls soccer players are excited and ready for next year, looking forward to potentially having a full year to prepare for the season. Overall it was a great season for our Lady Braves and they’re so grateful to have had a season even if it was cut short!
